This is my first book about plants of the Bible. It
contains the sixty second scripts I recorded for KBVM-FM 88.3 Portland
OR; plus a number of color photos. The scripts are read at random every
day on KBVM. It has 92 pages compared to Your Garden, Your Eden which has 313 pages, therefore the latter is everything you need to know about Bible plants.
Plants
of the Bible scripts include a pertinent Scripture passage and
sometimes a brief message regarding the plant. For example:
Almond
As the first tree to flower before the end of Israel’s winter, the
‘What do you see, Jeremiah?’
‘I see the branch of an almond tree,’ I replied.”
If you plan to grow an almond tree, be sure to ask at the nursery if the plant has been adapted to your climate.
God was alerting Jeremiah to the upcoming demise of Israel and that he
shouldn’t be alarmed, it is God’s plan. The almond tree is a sign to be
alert, to watch for spring and just maybe God’s plan for you.
