*Pomegranate

Pomegranate_near_lachish_tb_q1009_2

Numbers 13:23
And they came to the Wadi Eshcol, and cut down from there was a
branch with a single cluster of        grapes, and they carried it on a  pole between two of them.       They also brought some pomegranates and figs.

The passage above is the report Joshua and Caleb brought to Moses upon returning from a reconnaissance mission into the Promised Land. This event was two years into the Exodus. It could have ended there had Moses trusted God and simply united his people into the land of milk and honey. But, along with the abundance also came word that this was a land of giants to which the Israelis trembled. Moses relented, they moved on and struggled in the desert another 38 Bible years.

Could I possibly be so open, yet so blind, to the wishes of God for unity for me.
